In a world often divided, uplifting acts of kindness bring communities closer. Today, we share a touching story about The Good Dirt Collective and the women’s ministry from Northpointe Community Church, whose joint effort resulted in an unexpected and life-changing gift to GFL – a car.

We provide transitional housing and “Life-skill” support, up to 12 months, for at risk young adults.

Young women, 18 to 25 years of age. They may have aged out of foster care, Kinship or Guardianship, suffering from homelessness or are currently in an “at-risk” home.

You can donate financially (as well as household items, clothing, etc.), You can volunteer with us or you can join our team.

Services provided include but are not limited to a safe place to live, workshops on Financial literacy, self-care, Becoming Me (Trauma informed education), Budgeting. We help with Meal Prep and Growth mindset, how to cope with Anxiety and Mental Stress, and advocacy for everyday needs such as: earning a Driver’s license, College enrollment, Opening a checking/savings account.

Yes! If you believe you know someone who would benefit from the GFL home, you may contact us and we will reach out as soon as possible to begin our initial intake interview to ensure we are a good fit.

Yes we are. Your donation is tax deductible. If you leave a financial donation we will need your email address to send you a Contributions Letter from GFL. If you donate an item or multiple items and you would like a tax deduction, please send your donation with an itemized listing of what was donated and we will get that letter back to you.
